What does "self-hosted" mean for billing?
You install MaxPanel on your own server. Your server runs your customers' websites + email; we never touch tenant data. Your license fee covers the panel software itself, validated every 6 hours against our license server.
What happens when the trial ends?
Stripe charges the card on file at the end of the trial period and the license stays active. Cancel any time before then in the customer portal — no charge.
Refund policy?
We don't issue refunds. The trial exists so you can verify the panel works on your stack. Chargebacks result in immediate license revocation.
Multiple servers?
Buy one license per server. There's no seat pooling — each license binds to one server fingerprint. You can rebind a license to a different server (e.g. after a rebuild) from the customer portal.
What about mail nodes?
Mail-node licenses are a separate plan, no trial (the product needs a paired main node to be useful). Buy after your main-node trial converts.
