MaxPanel is built and operated by Cenmax. We run shared hosting and a fleet of our own servers — and we got tired of watching the control-panel bill climb every year while the things that actually matter (keeping customers isolated, real backups, security, speed) sat behind separate paid add-ons. Nothing on the market fit, so we built the panel we wanted to run.
Here's the part that matters when you're trusting your customers' sites to a panel: we use it ourselves, in production, every day. Our own hosting customers run on MaxPanel. Our other servers run on MaxPanel. When something breaks, it breaks for us first — so it gets fixed fast, because our business depends on it exactly the way yours will. This isn't a side project we'll lose interest in. It's the software our company runs on.
That's also why the price stays flat and the scope stays focused. We're not chasing an exit or padding a feature list to justify next year's hike. We need this to be dependable, affordable, and around for the long haul — for our sake as much as yours.
